why you should write articles …

You have a blog. You develop a website. Now what? You will need something to enhance your SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and SEO people will suggest you to write articles.

Why articles? Articles will provide multiple benefits for you, even if you only provide limited information within the articles. And now, for those of you who feel lack of writing ability, don’t get pessimistic so early.

I agree that writing articles is not that easy, it is a long journey to become a master, but you still need to develop your way to articles writing if you are serious with your blog / website project(s). If you often followed my articles back then, you might notice how I have been writing all the time. I was also a novice back then. There were some posts that might not be clear in explanation. I might not stay focused on the topics within the articles. By reading my previous posts and comparing those articles with recent ones, you may notice the difference, and you may notice my progress in my writings.

Some people’s development in writing articles are quite fast, for some others, the progress might be slow. But even if you are slow in your writing progress, don’t worry, you can develop your writing skill as time passes by, as long as you keep on writing. And don’t forget to also add a hyperlink of your blog or website in your articles. Why? This is to ensure you will get the benefits of writing articles and now, I will explain why your articles will give you advantages for your blog / website.

1. Your articles will help you get back link to your site.

   Still remember about adding hyperlink of your blog / website in your articles? If you have your articles submitted into other websites, this will ensure that you will still have back link to your site through the articles.

2. Your qualified articles will provide traffic increasing for your site.

   Good articles attract more readers. Attracting more readers means giving you more traffics. That explains a lot, I guess?

3. You will get good experience through your writing.

   How will it happen? It will happen when you interact with your readers; their comments, their suggestions, their feedbacks will help you improve your writing skill and knowledge. They will help you learn.

4. You can get additional profits through your writing.

   This will happen if you submit your articles to websites that will give you money for submitting articles to them. As you write qualified articles for your own blog / website, you might also want to put a notice on your own blog that you offer a service to write articles. Your articles as your portfolios to get writing jobs thus to get additional profits, so … why not?

The experience through your writing and the interaction with your readers will back up your skill level as you learn, as you really try to develop your writing. Don’t forget. As time passes by, while you are still writing and writing more, your sentence building will also improve because of the frequency of your writing. You will be familiar with good topics, you will notice small things in life that are good for writing topics. When the inspiration comes, you already know exactly how to write. And you will do it fluently more and more as your writing skill improves.

   Just remember to also put a hyperlink of your blog / website in every article you write. This will attract the readers to visit your blog, especially when they notice that you do provide good articles. There are also some websites which enable the visitors to comment about the articles or even to rate the articles. The better comments or rates you get for your articles, the better testimonials you get for your writing, this will have good impact for your blog, and your blog popularity too.

     Your readers might share your article with the others, their friends, family, etc. Some people will do it offline, some will do it online. When they pass the notification of your article to the others online, they will do it in world wide web, through some forums, or through recommendation in their comments at other websites. Just imagine the effect for your site’s possibility being found in relevant keywords searching.

   • Second case, when you submit articles to other websites:

     You might ever try submitting your own blog or website to search engines. Generally, you might think that it will be enough to get your site listed in directories or search engines. But it might take weeks for getting your site approved. Even if your site has been approved, it doesn’t always mean that your site is getting indexed. However, when you submit your articles to articles directories, you will need few days to get your articles published once they get approved by the directories providers. But you have to make sure that the directories will allow you to add at least one link within your article, which is of course, the link to your own blog. Not to mention if the site has a page rank that is minimum PR4. It will be a WOW.

So I believe that writing articles is important from the time someone starts a website. I wish my readers who develop their own blogs or sites will also start writing on their own, and for their own sake too. Well then, start your own too, and may you have good times of writing.
