Indonesia’s 2nd Former President, Mr. Soeharto passed away today, January 27, 2008 at 13:10 WIB (Waktu Indonesia Barat or West Indonesian Time, aka Jakarta Time, GMT +7).
My deep condolences for the family being left. Goodbye, Mr. Soeharto. I won’t forget about your good deeds for Indonesia’s developments and agricultural section back then, when everything were cheap, when earning for a living was still easy, when we could still drive on the roads without any worries of whatever-it-would-be, when 1 USD was still around IDR 2000; no matter how some people have said negatively about you.
Thank you for all good things we have had during your government periods in Indonesia, Mr. Soeharto. I’ve missed the times when Jakarta was still a very good, peaceful and low-cost-living city to live and to walk in and to drive on roads safely without careless people on the streets.
Indonesia, our 7 days of national mourning begins from today … we have lost Mr. Soeharto. We have lost our “Bapak Pembangunan” (Father of Development).
Goodbye Mr. Soeharto. May you Rest In Peace.
