2. How to apply e-gold?

   • Click here to access e-gold official page.

   • Click “Create An Account”, the Agreement page will show up, read it on, if you are agree, then click “I Agree” button.

   • The next thing you should enter in:

     1. Account Name

        • Account Name: enter in your account name, for example “Annie’s account”

        • Description: you can enter any description you want.

        • Additional Description: additional description you want to enter in.

     2. User Name

        • User Name: enter your chosen user name, you can use the same one with account name.

        • Description: enter any description you want.

     3. Point of Contact

        • Name: enter your full name. your real name.

        • Address: your real address, of course.

        • City: the city you are living in.

        • State/Province: the province or state of your city.

        • Country/Zip/Postal Code : enter your postal code.

        • Email:
          enter in your email address. make sure you enter the correct email address, because right after you apply for this account, you will get an email sent by e-gold for a confirmation requirement.

        • Phone:
          enter the correct one, including your country code, etc.
          this will be useful when you forgot your password, this information would be used for your account verification.

     4. Alternate Passphrase:
        this is a kind of password that will be asked when you have a payment transaction. save this information carefully, and never tell your passphrase to anybody else!

     5. Pass Phrase

        • New e-gold Account Passphrase:
          your main password to access your account, min. 6 characters, it must consist of both letter(s) and number(s). you cannot have all characters in letters only nor in numbers only.

        • New e-gold Account Passphrase again (Verify):
          enter in the same one you choose for “New e-gold Account Passphrase”. this is just for verification of your passphrase.

     6. Turing Number Entry:
        enter in the turing number, exactly the one shown in their animation.

   • Click “Open”. Wait until you have this confirmation:

   • You can check your email right away to get your e-gold number. You can also log in to your account as soon as you get this email. You can start using your e-gold account for any transaction (spend or receive, etc.)And if you have not accessed your account for such a long time, or you have changed your browser or IP address, e-gold will require you to get a PIN-ROBOT, that is a PIN which only last for several minutes, which will be sent to your email (used in your e-gold account above). Check your mailbox for the PIN-ROBOT email from e-gold, follow the instruction in your email.

5. Is e-gold secure?
   Nobody can actually claim about 100% secure in internet, but you can minimize any theft towards your account by:

   1. Make sure to not store your e-gold too much in such a long time, if you no longer need them that much, cash your e-gold balance into your chosen currency via an e-gold exchanger.

   2. Make sure your computer is free from keylogger, spyware, virus, etc. Install the proper software to handle these malware problems.

   3. Do this only if you are using your own private computer (not a sharing computer): make your browser remember your password to avoid any typing. Copying and pasting password is sufficient too.

   4. Don’t use same passwords to your various accounts on internet. Also, use your private email (a hidden from public one) for your e-gold account, not the email(s) you often use for communicating with the others, moreover the one you usually use for promotion.

   5. Get cautious with any emails claiming themselves from e-gold. There are some clever ones out there claiming themselves from e-gold but actually doing phishing. Don’t forget to check the warning from e-gold here
