So these people would just hit the sign up or register link, enter in the requested personal detail, turn on the check box containing “I agree with the term of this site” right away, without even bother to spend some time to read it first, and then hit the submit button. Few minutes or even seconds after they got the “sign up succeeded” confirmation, they started using the service right away. Still, without reading the TOS.

I hope my readers didn’t do the same mistake they did. If you did, then I would recommend you to start reading the TOS of every sites / services you have joined from now on to make sure you understand the sites better than none. And if you are planning to sign up for any site, from this moment, read their TOS, always, before you sign up.

Why?

I keep reading that some people were questioning the importance of reading the TOS. They often said that it was just for the formality.

I would say that the TOS actually serves more than what we had ever thought of. And now, I would explain why we will always have to read their TOS before we sign up. Even when we have already become their members, we will always need to read the TOS again after sometimes, in case you would break the term unknowingly, or in case that they have changed it.

Read the TOS So You Would Not Break the Rules.

Just think about it, just take this example:

• You were seeking for a site that enabled you to store files on their servers and to share your files with your friends or anybody that ever drop a visit to your links.

• You read some information out there, about one certain site (let’s call it the “XYZ service”) offered this, and when you read about how great the speed of downloading from the site, you found that it would be great to sign up for your own.

• Later, you came to XYZ site. The site looked great, you were impressed, and you signed up right away and not even bothered to read their TOS (Term of Service) first.

• So you hit the sign up link, entered all the needed details for registration, when it came to a check box saying “I agree with the term of service”, you just turned on the check box and never even bothered to open the TOS link first to read it.

• You submitted the registration right away.

• A confirmation of your registration appeared; you logged into the site right away and started using the service.

• And you uploaded all the files you could upload to your account at that server, and promoted it everywhere, you put the notification in your own blog, in forums, in emails, everywhere you could use to promote the files sharing.

• And later, suddenly the files were gone. You might not notice it yet, until some complaints coming to you, flooding your blog’s comments section or anywhere you have promoted the sharing back then.

• And you wondered a lot. Why? Why they said that the files couldn’t be downloaded?

• Later you checked back to your account at the XYZ service, perhaps you could still log into the account and you found that the files were gone. Or, the worse condition was you were no longer able to log into your account. The site either said “your account doesn’t exist” or “this account is suspended”.

Wondering about what was going on; you decided to use the contact form of XYZ and asked them about the reason behind their deletion towards your files or even your account. Soon, you would find yourself getting response back from XYZ team that you had violated their term of usage / term of service.

In fact, there were some points inside the TOS that were clear enough for those who cared to preview the TOS before they started using the service. These are the small examples:

• You are not allowed to upload ‘copyright infringement’ related files.
• You are not allowed to upload files containing nude or adult category.
• You are not allowed to upload any warez or cracks or any illegal software or files.

And so on. The next point warned you about the suspension of your account and deletion towards all the files if you broke their term of service. At the bottom of the TOS, it stated that by signing up you understood these points mentioned in their term of service and you accepted all the consequences if you happened to break any rule.

So if you happened to upload any kind of files mentioned as “the prohibited files” in the TOS, no wonder that your files were later deleted from the site and you might have experienced the suspension of your account.

With all these conditions, would you dare to ask them which point you had violated, if you had never cared to read their term before then? Well, some people did that, and well … just imagine how the XYZ team (or the other people) would react towards this kind of ex-member?

Nobody would blame XYZ team, but a lot of people would call you as an ignorant. So hopefully, you have never experienced this and you did learn the TOS of every site you have joined.

Read the TOS to Find Out the Legitimacy of the Site.

I keep hearing that many participants of “get paid to” (GPT) programs being scammed many times by some sites, for example, by certain “paid to read” (PTR) or “paid to click” (PTC) sites.

I have to warn you that mostly those people have fallen into the scam scheme because they didn’t learn the TOS of the sites when they decided to participate in the online earning sites.

Let me tell you some small examples:

• You read some recommendation here and there about one certain GPT site (let’s take a PTC site as example). The people just boasted about how great the site was, about how many ads they got daily (20 or even 30 daily ads to click). They also told that the payout was low, you could cash out immediately after you reached $1.

• So you made your own visit to the PTC site. You read at their main page, really stated like some people claimed, “Payout: $1.00″.

• You checked their FAQ to make sure. You noted some “how it works” explanations and some other points you thought to yourself “Okay, I know it now”. You also noticed how the FAQ stated that you could cash out through Paypal, E-Gold, (and perhaps the FAQ also stated some other online payment processors) after reaching $1.

• Since you have a Paypal account, you signed up right away, without reading the TOS.

• After the sign up confirmation appeared, you logged in immediately and started clicking on the advertisements. You went to the site daily, you noticed that the number of advertisements were lower than some claims back then. You wondered but you kept clicking.

• Later, when you were almost at the minimum payout value, suddenly the minimum payout increased to $2! You started questioning about the site’s legitimacy, but you kept trying because you read how some ‘members’ stated that they ever got paid back then when it was still $1 minimum payout.

• But later, when it was almost $2 for you, the site was down. You couldn’t click to reach the remaining 30 cents to get your $2.

• Later the site got back online again. The PTC site stated in their own forum, gave announcement to the members that they would raise the minimum payout to $3 because they had to cover the new server costs.

• Perhaps you became panicked; you almost reached the $2. You could log into the site, but the ads were even fewer, you couldn’t even make 10 cents per day.

• The next day you accessed the main page, the minimum payout had become $4!!!

• And you also noticed that they would soon switch to a new payment method.

The site became very suspicious for you. Now would you care to check various information sources about the legitimacy of this site? Well, I have to tell you, at this state, it is actually a bit late. But it is better than none.

A very wise action if you later decided to stop clicking for a while. Later you got information from some friends in another forum you had just joined that they also started questioning the legitimacy of the site (perhaps you also want to check the article “Why We Would Always Need the Community” to know why a community is needed to exchange some information). One member in the forum told you that he had stepped back after he learned the TOS of that site before he signed up. He told you that if he hadn’t read the TOS, he might have fallen into the same trap.

You might say that the FAQ back then stated that minimum payout, you found nothing suspicious back then, you just wondered about why the ads number was different for some members. But there was not about the FAQ, your friend stated. It was within the TOS.

So later, this friend would tell you that he found the TOS and the FAQ and the main page statements had contradicted each other. One thing that you finally understood: 20 ads per day were for upgraded members. You were a free member, no wonder you got less ads. You started guessing, so those people claimed they got 20 ads up to 30 ads per day might have purchased the upgrade and became premium members.

Now there was more information shared by your new friend that brought you into sudden awareness. The main page of the suspected site stated “Payout: $1″. The FAQ stated “the minimum payout is $1″ through various online payment processors. But this new friend you just met in the forum had noticed something you never read back then.

It was within the TOS, and the TOS stated that the payout would be done via Paypal (no other online payment methods being mentioned within the TOS) and the minimum payout was $10.00!

Got it yet?

You quickly went to the site again, to check their TOS. But you didn’t find the point mentioned by your friend there. You assumed that the friend was mistaken this site to another one. But you didn’t ever think of the possibility that the TOS might have been changed before you finally read it on your own. You might go back to your friend, sent some private message telling the person that you didn’t find the point he said within the TOS. The person told you that “then they must have realized the contradiction and changed it as soon as possible.”

Are you aware of the importance of reading the TOS and to re-read the TOS again now?

So if some people stated that Term of Statement (TOS) was just for the ‘formality’, they were absolutely correct if it was about the site I mentioned in the example above.

Later, you found that the site changed the minimum payout again, to $8.99. If you had stopped clicking on the ads back then, you would be glad that you didn’t fall into the trap for the third time.

And if later the site really turned out to have “$10.00″ minimum payout, and later a lot of people stated that it was scam, there’s no need to be surprised.

I guess my example above was enough to make you aware of the importance of reading the TOS of every site you are joining, and to re-read the TOS again, often, after you become one of their participants.

It’s better to stay informed, than being ignorant and stumbled on the consequences of whatever that might come as the result of not learning the points within their TOS. The latter pain will hurt you more, really. So make sure you always read the TOS.

What will come to your mind when you finally hear the word “Community”? Some people would probably still associate the word “Community” with certain exclusive or high class society. Well, back then perhaps it often sounded like that. However, nowadays some people will have various definitions about “Community”:

• a group of people who share the same nationality
• a group of people who share the same religion
• a group of people who come from the same generation
• a group of people who join the same club
• a group of people who share the same interest

And so on.

That’s why when we enter the realm of World Wide Web; we will also find the online communities in various parts of the Internet. You will find various sites where a lot of people are coming together, sharing the same interests and topics. We will find them in various blogs, directories, forums, and other kind of social networking sites.

And these people know the benefits of joining the community. They know the power of community.

Now think about it, we exist in this world, the vast world on our planet Earth. Now imagine your position, standing inside the vast real world, in this case, you are a visitor and you know nobody in current area, you know nothing about the neighborhood, you are just coming and you haven’t been familiar with all things inside this world. What do you feel? What would you do?

Don’t you feel the situation of being lost? Will you just stand there and stay in your confusion? You will certainly seek for any information, won’t you?

Internet is a vast virtual world. The situation will be just about the same. Being alone in the midst of the vast virtual world will make some people feel lost, especially when they are still new comers. They will need information whether it covers topics about life, news, multimedia, entertainment, language, web development, article writing, even online earning and other various topics. We are just the same with these people, even if we are no longer new comers, we still need information.

And that’s what the communities provide: the information exchange. That’s the reason of why we would always need the community.

Now just imagine you later enter the gate of a community. Just take one example, the online earning community; you have been there because you are just entering the online earning realm. You will soon find a melting pot of different nations who are also trying out their chance to get profits from their online experiences. There are many topics covered within the community site. You may find various discussions about online earning chance and how some Internet users have succeeded in making their earning from Internet; perhaps you will also find some way of earning online that never came into your mind back then. There might also be various information, perhaps about which programs that still exist online but actually have scammed a lot of people, or which programs that have really paid the participants, and so on.

Now, finally your eyes are opened by what you read from the community sites. Start from that moment, finally you have some guides about the online earning topic; you know which one really works and which one to avoid.

I know some of you, who have found such community sites, have decided to stay lurking and just reading the information shared by the sites. However, I believe that some others have also joined the communities and added new information that will be useful for everyone.

Will you just go away from one site to another again and again until you find it, just because you don’t want to register or sign up for a participation?

Well, you can judge the effectiveness by yourself. However, I found a situation from my own experience from a community site that I trusted. I signed up, and then asked for the information from the other members there. And I found it was more effective because few minutes after I started the topic, some members already responded to my question and they came from various places of this world with various explanations and source of information I would need.

Some of the respondents had also provided several URLs that supported their information so I could survey the links on my own for further explanation. I would have taken longer time to find those things on my own. So this is about the power of community: the information exchange. This is the point I want to bring into your attention for now, I would like to add more about the benefits of joining a community, but I would reserve it for later.

However, you can also try it on your own. And you will soon realize that there are more benefits from joining a community that you trust. Believe me; the power of a community is no longer about the exclusive definition of the word “Community”. It is the powerful and fast information exchange between the members, and that’s what you and I will always need in this vast virtual world of Internet.

I believe most of us have known that Internet is a giant resource of earning money. Just take a look, you will find a lot of blogs with advertisement, business websites, GPT (Get Paid To) programs like paid to read (PTR), paid to click (PTC), paid to search, paid to sign up, paid to post, High Yield Investment Programs (HYIP), online Forex trading, and so on. Internet is a vast area of earning opportunities for those who are seeking for additional earnings, you might have even found some young people who retired from their offline jobs, in order to stay focused on their online earnings.

So I believe some of us, you and I, still have our offline job, whether it is from the company, or informal job, and let’s say it the offline job; and there is something we need to consider when we have put our attention to these areas of online earning versus the offline one. So, here we are talking about standing on two boats at the same time.

I know there are many people who have offline jobs, but still grab the chance of making additional profits from their online experiences. If you happened to visit any forum talking about online money making, something like that, or even forum talking about google adsense or other kind of advertisements for websites, you would find many people among them were still holding their offline jobs. If you have been making friends with some of these people, you would hear the testimonials that either they were trying out the possibilities of online earning, or they were building their ’small kingdom’ of online earning, or they just tried out the chance because they felt they could no longer rely on the offline earning. Some of them have succeeded in the online earning experiences, some others are still trying real hard, and the rests are the new comers.

For most new comers, even few bucks seem like a pile of gold. And I feel the need to alert the new comers:

True, some people really make big bucks, but it is not as easy as you have thought. Everything takes time. You cannot get all things at once.

And don’t forget, there are prices to pay: Your time, your energy, and your mind.

Just think about it. Are you an organized person? If you are not, your life balance is at stake.

I keep reading many complaints on forums that some of their family members started to question their existence in the house. Yes, they are indeed in the house, physically, but their attention is distracted.

• Some people admitted that they had forgotten to do the houseworks.

• Some students admitted they lost their focus on the study.

• Some employees admitted that they had lost their focus on their works for the company.

• Some others complained that they felt the earning was not worth it, compared to the length of time they had sacrificed for the earning from their daily posts on such “paid to post” forums, or from their daily earning on such “paid to read” or “paid to click” or “paid to …” programs.

• Some said that they had joined many get paid to programs, but not all of the programs really worked for them. Some of the programs later didn’t pay them (turned out to be scams), some of the programs had very low earning rates compared to the minimum payouts. Some people also said that the referrals didn’t support them, etc.

So, everything goes back to the basic question for each participant: Is it worth it?

You spent 5 till 8 hours per day on Internet to post on forums (let’s say you join 4 forums, that’s the maximum average people can join and stay focused on), other GPT programs (let’s say maximum 20 sites, that’s the perfect maximum someone could handle), and the earning you got for the day were these:

• around $5 from first forum.
• one other forum limited you to make maximum 20 posts per day (and you got paid $0.03 per post), you tried to make maximum post numbers, so then let’s assume you made $0.60 from this one per day.
• another forum claimed you would earn $0.06 per post after you made more than 300 posts, since you haven’t reached the numbers, you got approximately $0.02 per post. Let’s assume you made 30 posts, then it was around $0.60. Okay, perhaps you got real good topics to talk about, make it 50 posts then, $1 for the day.

• You also joined various PTR / PTC programs, and since you had become the member of almost all PTR / PTC programs scattered around Internet (not to mention the possibilities of getting scammed), mostly you would no longer be able to do the “paid to sign up” part, unless you tried on cheating by creating multiple account on the programs you had joined before, with the risk of getting banned once they found out.
  Let’s say that you did all 20 PTR / PTC programs with various pay rates, you might get approximately 200 clicks per day from all these sites, if all of them gave you 1 cent per click, you got around $2 for that day.
  Let’s say that you were still lucky to get additional $5 (or even $10) from all the sign ups you could make from the sites, since some of you might be International members and usually sign ups were only available for USA, UK, or some certain countries.

• Some of you invested on HYIP, and got scammed later. Let’s assume that you didn’t join it to make the medium / average calculation.

• Let’s assume you were not joining any Forex trading, since not all people had the nerve on this one.

• Let’s say that you didn’t have any earning from your site yet.

So how much you have made for the day? $18? $20? That would be a wow for you must have been lucky enough for making such amount by doing this on your own. How long you have been online for that day? Less than 5 hours? No? If it wasn’t less than 5 hours, then you were just wasting your time for a small buck.

Just forget about your referrals, okay? Not everyone gets good referrals. There are even many participants who don’t have referral at all. We are talking about your own earning, your pure earning.

But how long the times you have spent for the day? The electricity, the Internet usage, your time, your energy, your mind. Was it worth it? Have you still done your offline routines well? Your current study or job? You need to manage your life balance between online versus offline life, or you would only bring trouble upon your own life, especially those of you who already had offline career or you might be some housewives who had to do all the houseworks yourselves.

And later, how long have you waited until they finally paid you? What if some of them later turned out to be scams? Or perhaps, you suddenly got kicked out from the membership and you just didn’t know what kind of term violation you have made. Or, you might have done some mistake accidentally in your participation, and you got infraction. Some certain penalty was really BIG, even would make you end up being suspended and losing the accumulated earning so far.

Unless you had gotten many referrals to boost your earnings up, was it worth it?

Now calculate back all the times and energy you have spent during those days. If you focused on offline earning for such amount of times, how much you should have earned? Which one would have given you better earning? Which one would have given you better sleep? Which one would have given you more time to spend with the family or even for yourself?

Which one would have enabled you to spend less money for the bills?

Which one that still gave you rooms to interact with your neighbors, family, relatives, friends?

Which one still made you feel that you had lived a normal life and full with energy and enthusiasm?

For me, I still believe that 2 till 3 hours per day is the maximum daily limit to spend on Internet. Unless I no longer want to have my current offline job, my resting time, and my offline life.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not money oriented. I also have a hope of making some online earning, but I don’t make my blog for only money. Yes, I put advertisement here, but this is not the main reason of why I finally made this blog. My intention is to provide some tips and sharing about the acts you need to maximize your life. The aim of this blog making includes the benefits for you as the readers, and I as the writer who gets your feedbacks.

I know how it feels like to step on two boats at the same time, and believe me, it is frustrating. And I need to share with you that what works for some people doesn’t always work for the others. So, online earning is good for you if it is worth your time, if it doesn’t, I am not saying that you mustn’t spend your time to try on your online earning experience, but just don’t waste your time too much for something that gives back to you less than you give, your energy, your time, your mind, your efforts. You still have your own way and that doesn’t have to be the same with the other’s way. Just consider all these things for your own sake.

You can’t do everything. You can’t get everything you want either. Hold your greed, hold your impatience towards you earnings. Everything takes time, even a big success starts from a small step. There is no point of joining a lot of this and that, which people claimed giving them a lot, but rather, go to survey all these programs for yourself before you finally join them, read carefully every lenses or guard or watch upon these programs. Find some sites that give you the review upon the programs you consider of. Don’t just start joining them before you are sure that they will be worth for you. And when you start your participation, be wise, don’t just brutally spend your time and efforts, start your earning one step at a time, one day at a time. Remember, you are human that needs rest, sleep, times to interact with the others physically, and you still need the balance for your offline routine, because you exist physically in offline world!

Calculate the time you would have to spend for them, would these things give you better than that one you are working for now? Would these things not isolate you from the others, from your current social networking? Would these things be safe for your current offline schedule and activities?

You judge it. If these things only cause distraction towards your life, your mind and your current work / study, you should have known what you have to do with these things. Don’t just complain it at forum entries, you should make your action.

How are you? Well, it has been a long time since the first time I saw you coming into this world, with your very first breath and loud crying. I still remember the day you were born, and back then I wondered about your future, I didn’t have any idea how you would grow up one day.

Today, I also wonder how the times have passed so fast. Back then I had watched you make your first crawl as a baby and then your first step when you started to walk, and today there you are … standing on your own feet, and you are doing your own … running, rushing for all things you want to do.

Well, I know your interest in earning money has also grown too. I don’t know if this is already the time for you to do this, but I have to admit that one day you can no longer count on us, your parents, to afford your living. And as far as I know, you have been doing some researching about any opportunity to make your own money. And, since the Internet has become worldwide and has also provided this possibility online, you have also started digging your own way to survive in this money making field.

Probably you have been joining any online affiliates and establishing your own websites or blogs for making some profits from them, or probably you have participation in any GPT (”Get Paid To”) programs, PTR, PTC, and PTS, PTP or something else, since these are the most popular ones. I just keep wondering, my Child … have you ever consulted somebody about these things? Do you have any good mentor, Child? I keep hoping that you really do.

All right, we are older than you; some children may address us as old folks, the outdated, some would say that we know less about Internet than you do. But, Child, the world of Internet is the world of the same people; the difference is that you are not seeing them face to face like we always do in the offline areas. However, there are still real people behind the Internet. And know this, my Child, as the offline world has good and bad people, the online world of Internet does have both of them too. So I believe that the same rules apply to both of the world of Internet and the offline world I have known so far.

And I need to warn you, be careful in your online journey, because you don’t even see those people’s faces, you don’t meet them face to face, and you might not even know how they look like. Even in the offline world, when you see a person’s face, you can’t even tell whether this is an honest person or not. So how would you be able to tell the difference in the online world, in which you see no real face at all? How would you tell whether the photos displayed on some websites were their real pictures or not? How would you be able to know whether they provided their real contact addresses or phones? How would you know that you are in secure areas of earning? Since you might know the Internet better than we old folks do, can you tell me how you would do that?

Anyway, this is the globalization era, so I don’t think I can limit your exploration because that will mean that I have hindered you, that I don’t let you grow up, that I don’t want you to improve and to do things on your own. So, explore them then, but please … be careful and be wise in your journey, no matter how young you are, there are those who just won’t care to help you at all, but maybe the good people will also help you in the World Wide Web as you learn and approach them for any advice that we can’t give to you. However, an important alert to you, Child, you might get deceived by scams, since we cannot tell which ones will really help you or pay you, and which ones will not. You might even face some wolves in disguise as trusted websites / emails; I think you know the word phishing better than I do? So, be careful. Stay alert, Child.

This is your own area of exploration and since you will want to do it your own way, you will have to make a lot of careful steps and to figure them out by yourself. Both of us, your parents, can only watch from the backstage as we wish for the best of your part. However, when you want to go back to ask our opinion or advice, we will be glad to give you some. But in the end, the decision is still yours.

Just one thing I would like to request from you, Child. I hope you would do your earning part honestly. It is a virtual world, truly; still we are facing the real people behind the masks of the web pages. I believe any crimes will still get caught even if the person hides behind a false identity. I wish you will not become such a person at all, because all of us will still get into the trouble when you become such a person. You have to promise me to stay in ‘clean’ area, Child, okay?

I would also like to see you give any good contribution to other people as well, like we usually do to our neighborhood or our own family offline. Since you are participating in the world of online earning programs, maybe you will be able to give some feedbacks to the newcomers that may enter the same realm of online earning programs after you did.

Category 1: Those who get limited Internet bandwidth from their providers.

Got it? Limited bandwidth connection is expensive, compared to amount of money you would be paid per click. Don’t forget, some PTR / PTC site contents or links or banners won’t display the click able links if you don’t set your browser to display image.

There are some PTR / PTC websites that urge the users to get authenticated first before they start to display the real advertisement page by the first time. This is to avoid any auto click by programs, in case some folks out there want to cheat using robots. The PTR / PTC owners want to make sure you are human, not robots. So some of them will bring you to an authentication page which displays one or two random image(s) that will show up several characters or number digits.

If you are a real human, you will be able to read the numbers or characters displayed at the page, and to click on the correct choice displayed. That’s the way it is.

But let me alert you first, sometimes this doesn’t happen only once. I mean, when you have clicked a lot of PTC links in this kind of “needs authentication” PTR / PTC websites, sometimes they will bring the “authentication page” back to make sure that you are still a human up till that moment. Now, you have to remember, the page doesn’t only contain the authentication random images. Remember, the websites also have their own menu images, some sponsor banners, and these apply to the authentication page as well. So this is a burden for those of you who get connected via limited bandwidth Internet providers.

Those are just small examples about this category. You can calculate the amount of bandwidth usage for each day you click on the advertisements. Compare the calculation result with the money you get through the clicks during that day. Can the revenue of the clicks during the day cover the cost of your bandwidth usage? Is it worth it? You judge it.

Category 2: Some people who might not get connected through a broadband account, but even still use a dial up connection.

Oh come on, using this kind of connection to specially click on the ads? Isn’t this frustrating you somehow? Again, make your calculation against the cost and even the time to load per page. Don’t forget, you might get long loading time for just entering the login page itself, not to mention that some of them will also lead you to the authentication page.

Remember, advertisement oriented websites are heavy to load, and “Get Paid To” websites are also part of advertisement oriented ones. And if you still remember my explanation in Category 1, some click able advertisements won’t show at all unless you turn on the “display image” setting of your browser.

Category 3: People that don’t have private Internet connection, and might have usually been connected from the office’s connection.

If you are one of these people, remember, your online connection is from the office you work for, which will mostly mean … you are accessing through a shared IP connection or even Proxy ones.

Usually the working company will have anticipated the possibility of their employees using their Internet connection to have any activities related to get paid programs. They might have blocked the get paid programs URLs from being accessed by their employees.

And by the way, most of PTR / PTC programs will not allow any member participation in their programs through these kinds of connection. You will only get banned by the PTR / PTC owners as soon as they find out. Not to mention, you have been misusing your working company connection. You might get troubled with the company you work for when they find out.

Category 4: People who are not well-organized in daily life.

Why? Because they will become more and more disorganized.

Believe me, by not becoming a well self-organized person, you will get obsessed by these kinds of programs and you will get greedy, becoming obsessed to gain more money and money as quickly as possible, but you might not be thinking about the strategy. You will do these things by brute force participation, which means, just clicking and clicking, joining and joining, but you don’t calculate whether these revenues have ever covered your online cost or not.

So beware, the obsession will even lead you to find more similar programs that might still not be proven as “have really paid the members”.

If you don’t think twice, you don’t plan, you don’t even think of how worth the balance between the cost of your connection and the money you gain, you won’t even realize that your balance has started to become deficit. You might say: “But what if I would have a lot of referrals?” True, but you still have to manage your active status in your own “Get Paid To” programs. And getting referrals is not as easy as we have always thought.

Obsession might come in another form. You start to become greedy. You want more and more. You want a better way, a quicker way. Your mind may tell you to “Get Richer Quickly!” So you start surfing all the web to find more or better GPT programs. You might even survey all the sponsors of your current GPT programs, read their FAQ pages, etc.

You might even visit all the GPT related websites out there, the forums, the blogs, etc. to get more similar programs that promise you better than your current ones. But remember, some authors in the websites might only recommend you to join this or that program, even would rather provide their referral links for you to sign up than give you the information about which ones have been exposed as “scam”, and some of them might not even care to recommend you any good website that provides the reliable information about similar programs. So how come you will be sure that they really ever get paid by those programs? You will again search and search the Internet to get this information, until you find one.

But how about your offline life? Do you start ignoring your tasks, your job, your environment, your family, your neighbors, your time management, because of being busy with PTR / PTC or any GPT programs then? You need a balance in your life. That’s why your self management will become more vulnerable if you are not a well organized person from a start.

And if you don’t have strategy or plan in your self management, you will become a very spontaneous person in every decision you make, it’s very possible that you will start joining more and more GPT programs right away without making sure that these ones are good for you. It’s good if you find the truly honest ones right away. But what if you don’t?

If you just believe the “honest site” claiming right away, you will only click for nothing once you have joined the programs, and when you find out that they are scams, you will get disappointed after then. Again, more time wasting, another form of self disorganized situation. And remember the cost of your online connection back then, for the useless clicks on the scam sites’ advertisements. It is painful to remember, right?

Another if. If you are smarter enough to survey the information about those similar programs, your self research will bring you to browse the world wide web almost all the day, perhaps even everyday, before you are sure about your next decision: whether to join the programs or not. Because what if the informations you find have contradicted each others? Then which one will you believe?

So this is some insight for you to digest. If you have found yourself in one of the four categories above, whether you will still join the programs or not, the choice is still yours. You are the one who takes the decision. I’m not telling you to avoid this money making field, but I feel the need to give some insight. For even in PTR, PTC or any GPT programs participation, we still need to work it smarter and not by brute force participation.

We need to be wise.

But there’s a warning for those who have limited Internet bandwidth access, you have to calculate the ratio between the profits you would get through the click versus the bandwidth usage in money value. If your bandwidth usage would be more expensive than the profits you would get from your clicks, then you should reconsider about these kind of programs, because you would only waste more money on your bandwidth usage than the money amount you would get. You have to be wise and calculate the estimate first so whenever you join the programs, you will be sure that they are worth of your time.

For those who want to try “get paid” programs like the ones mentioned above, you can also create an e-gold account for yourself before applying the “pay per click” programs. To create an e-gold account, just access the e-gold website here and click their “create an account” menu. Just as simple as that way.

The PTR / PTC sites being listed above are some of old PTR / PTC sites that still pay their members and proven as paying sites from time to time. However, for the latest news about these sites or any other Paid to Click sites, I would always recommend you to seek for any PTR / PTC watch list to make sure whether they are still paying or not. I have also opened a category section called “scam”, to which I would sometimes update the latest scams warning provided by various sources, and what you would need is only to check whether any site you have in mind is listed under “scam” category or not, and then to consider your participation after reading the list.

If your answer is yes, wow … your online potential should have been used to bring advantage for yourself, especially if you have unlimited connection bandwidth.

“What advantage?” you might ask. Do you know that Internet can make money for you? If you love spending your times surfing and browsing everywhere, I wonder if you ever thought of making your online times into profit. There are a lot of “making money online” programs out there, you just get online as usual and while you surf as you often did, make additional advantage from your online times.

For example … make money from clicking on ads. This is one example of those websites offering you to make this possible. They truly pay you, at least that’s what many members have experienced so far. And I am one of those who have been paid during my participation in a paid to click program like this one.

You might have already seen a lot of similar ones out there, but they claimed hundreds dollars for clicking one ad or email ad? I’m skeptical about those ones, they probably don’t pay. I read a lot of complaints in the forums out there, saying that this website didn’t pay, that website didn’t pay. And yes, it makes sense. What kind of advertisement that would pay us in hundreds dollars by just one click?

Most of honest ones would rate their paid to click programs in cents, and it would accumulate according to the impression you make. I want to stress that these are not “make yourself rich” programs, your balance will result from your own work on clicking and surfing the advertisements they send. And if they found you cheating or spamming, your account would be suspended and you would get nothing.

But if you are curious about those claiming would pay you USD 75 per email / ad to make you rich quickly, or more than that, just remember to not put too much hope on them. I just want to warn you that the easier you get something, the easier you’ll lose it, this also applies to your participation in “getting paid” programs, so make sure to be honest.

If you have broadband and unlimited internet account, it would be better. For a trustful pay per click website, I would recommend no-minimum.com for a start. If you have an e-gold account, that would be easier, because you can request a payout right from only $0.01, yes, just one cent. I have tested it for myself, it works.

But I have to warn you, before you join “paid to click, paid to surf, paid to search, paid to read” kinds of programs, you had better calculated your potential profit ratio first. These programs are good for those who have unlimited Internet access, but if your Internet access are based on bandwidth limit, I would recommend you to create your own site and make profit another way, because these programs are not “getting quick rich” scheme. Just calculate and compare between how many bandwidth you would use to open their “paid to click” URLs, to display the whole page, and how many cents you would earn by those bandwidth usage on clicking their ads. Would it be sufficient for you? If your bandwidth usage for these URL clicks would be uncovered by those little small amount of money per each click, I would suggest you to not waste your time and bandwidth usage. I would rather suggest you to have your own site or blog and make money from displaying ads in your site. Having your own Google adsense website, for example.

The main point is to not waste your online time without getting something back from your online experience. Of course, something that worth it.

However, due to some reasons, I finally decided to quit from their program and put my attention into other kind of online earning program like paid to post on forums.
